Hi Wolf, Yes, someone alerted this list to the site some time ago, perhaps before you were on the list. The site was done by a class who were trying to learn how to research things on the WWW and how to create web pages in HTML. I talked to them a bit and invited some to take over pages on our site, but didn't get any takers. I'm not clear, now that the class is over, that anyone is going to be maintaining that site. Also, despite being an impressive collection of links, it is somewhat disorganized -- Cyndi Howell's site does better in this respect. German Study Group A study group project to aid German genealogy online research. Contains links (with comments) for 1.General German Genealogy Resources; 2.Maps, History, German Regions, Heraldry; 3.Databases and Vital Records; 4.Tools: Phone Books, Translations, Forms, Search Engines, Look-ups; 5.Immigration, Ships and Naturalization; 6.Other Internet Suggestions. Also at the site are lists of books, words used in German genealogy, German/English Form letters, and FAQ for most German lists.
"German Genealogy Pages" are decribed as a "must" !
