Hello
Attempting to figure out what a Breitsitzer is. In the book of baptisms
for the community of Aschendorf , this is the profession of my ancestor
Johannes Schwagmann. This entry appears in 1865 with the birth/baptism of my
great gransmother Margaretha Schwagmann.
In the parents section of the Taufbuch it states: "Breitstizer Johannes
Schwagmann in Lehe und desten Ehefrau Anna geboren Jansen." The other
question is: what does the word "desten" mean? Is this some sort of
adjective?
Thanks,
Tim Allgeyer
