Andrew WITT was born 21 September 1852. He married Maria / Mary KNABBE and died in Oakland, California, USA on 31, May 1893. His obituary says he was ELM, Hanover, Germany. Is there such a palce as Elm? If so, where is it? My husband thinks it is a misprint and the town should be ULM. Does anyone know which is correct and where the town is located?
