Looking for information on
KArl Rudolph Marx bonr 07 Mar 1876 Auras an der Oder, Kreis Wohlau
He was one of 13 children, only know of on married sister coming over
who married an August Sobeck b. abt. 1877 in Germany immigration to
Chicago IL USA in 1911
Karl married Auguste Blümell b. 25 Apr 1880 Auras an der Oder, Kreis
Wohlau
They had one child
Elfrieda Martha Marx b 23 Jun 1901 Auras an der Oder, Kreis Wohlau
This Marx family immigrated to Chicago in 1912.

Auguste had sisters
Johanna b. abt 1871 She married a Ernst Ritter and possibly had a child
named Rose,  they also came over to Chicago in 1912
Anna b. abt 1882 married a Stiller, had a son, both supposedly died in
Germany during WW1, she came as a Widow to Chicago during the 1920's

Parnets are listed as Carl Blümell and unk, Freitag.  They were
Lutheran,
The Marx side was Catholic

Passenger records 1922 also show a Auguste Marx (Age 42) coming to USA
from a visit with sister P. Stiller of Carlsruhe Germany, with this
Auguste last address being Gladbach Germany, and birthplace Friedland
Germany.  She was going to brother in law Otto Marx in Chicago, and
traveling with her was daughter Kate Ohlert (age 20) and son in law
Arthur Ohlert (age 24), his birth place was Berlin and coming from his
mothers J. Ohlert, Dusseldorf Germany.
I do not know where these (Birthplace) locations are in regards to
Auras, Also this Auguste is the same age as my greatgrandmother Auguste,
but do not know if there is a connection.

Also wondering what parish records I would look for, for both the Marx
and Blümell family.
