Dear Jenifer:

I am pretty sure that there would be a connection, as
I do know that my Texas Dinklages ( who live dmainly
in Fayette County, Texas and also in Galveston are
definitely related to the Nebraska Dinklages that you
speak of as I have been in contact over the years with
a Dean and Marlene Dinklage there in Nebraska who
share a common Dinklage ancestor; Christopher Borchart
Dinklage of Oldenburg, Germany.

To answer your question though, Caroline Friederike
Otten-Boettger nee Dinklage, whom my grandfather knew
as "Tante Rike" lived only in the vicinity of
Oldenburg (Eversten and then Bloherfelde) before
emigrating to Texas, where she lived the remainder of
her life in Fayette County, Texas.  She is buried in
the Old Freiburg Lutheran Cemetery in Fayette County
next to her second husband, Adolph Boettger.

love to compare notes, as I have a great deal of
Dinklage Family information.

There are Dinklage, Johann & Catherine Meyer history
in Cuming County, NE and Colfax County, NE.  These
were Lutheran farmers, Dinklage is a cattle feeder.
