I am trying to translate an obituary that is written in German, fancy lettering etc. So first I had to decipher the letters and then translate the words. I have done pretty well except for one word. I am not sure that this is the proper spelling but does anyone know what this could possibly be. I think that it is "verflosienen". I have trouble distinguishing between the letter "f" and the letter "s" so it could be "verslosienen" or "verslofienen". I will give you the entire sentence. "Am verflosienen Donnerstag fand (or sand) vom Trauerhause, No. 2813 Meramec Str. aus, die Beerdigung des am Dienstag, den 17 November, um hohen Alter von 85 Jahren verstorbene, Ferdinand Meyrose statt." Thanks for any help. Barb
