Thank you for the information.  In reference to the names contained in  your 
note as shown below.
 
1) Anton REPKING (Nov 12, 1825 - Oct 06, 1907) is my Great-Grandfather  
Ahnentafel 8.  He emigrated August 6, 1846.  His parents are Franz  Anton REPKING 
(Aug 16, 1784 - Sep 13, 1855) and Maria Anna KUHLMAN (Jul 21, 1796  - Jan 08, 
1856).  They arrived in New Orleans on November 5, 1849.
 
2) I believe Dirk is really Johan Theodor Arnold REPKING (Dec 18, 1819 -  Aug 
07, 1856).  I do not have an emigration date for him.  Family lore  says he 
was a stowaway.  He was the first teacher at  the St Aloysius  Catholic Church 
grade school in Bishop Township, Effingham County,  Illinois.
 
What occupation is a Dienstknecht?
 
3) Elizabeth REPKING is Catharina Elisabeth Repking (Jul 07, 1817 -  ?).  She 
came with her parents and arrived in New Orleans on November 5,  1849.  I 
have been unable to trace her after that date. 
 
I did find Haustochter in my German dictionary - Mother's help.
 
4) Johan Heinrich REPKING (Jul 27, 1829 - Nov 01, 1907) is the brother of  
Anton, Dirk and Elizabeth.  He arrived with his parents on November 5,  1849.
 
5) I made an error.  The correct name is Franz  Henrick SCHLEPER  ( Nov 18, 
1817 - May 14, 1900).  He was born in Bretberg, Lohne, amt  Vechta, Oldenburg.  
 I do not have a  Franz Joseph SCHEPER in my  data base.

I have the family history back to Hinrik  REBBEKINCK who was born  about 1440 
in Telbrake, amt Vechta, Oldenburg.  The Family lived in  Telbrake and 
attended St Marien Church in Oythe.
