In your note, you asked for information concerning emigrants of the
Oldenburger Münsterland. I have the following ancestors who migrated from Oldenburg.
The numbers are their Ahnentafel number.

23. BUCKEDEN, Anna Marie Elizabeth (NIEHAUSE) - Nutteln, Westphalen,
Oldenburg - prior to 1839.

17. KUHLMAN, Maria Anna (REPKING) - Oythe, amt Vechta, Oldenburg - Landed in
New Orleans on November 5, 1849 on the Rob Roy which sailed from Bremen.

11. NIEHAUS, Anna Maria Karolina (SCHLEPER) - Bokel, amt Cloppenburg,
Oldenburg - prior to 1839.

22. NIEHAUS, Joann Gerhard Joseph - Bokel, amt Cloppenburg, Oldenburg -
Prior to September 1839. His Daughter was married in Cincinnati in 1839. After
May 1838, since his youngest daughter was born then in Bokel, Oldenburg.

8. REPKING, Anton - Oythe, amt Vechta, Oldenburg - His entry is recorded on
in the National Archives in Series M255, Roll 5, List Number 24; LDS number
0417387. He arrived on the Ship Bessel on August 6, 1846. The ship sailed
from Bremen and landed in Baltimore. His place of origin was Oythe. He was
20 years old and a farmer. His destination was Cincinnati. Family history
says he was a stowaway. His Brother, Theodore came at approximately the same
time, since they were both here when the rest of the Family arrived in 1849.
Theodore possibly was the stowaway, if there was one.

16. REPKING, Franz Anton - Telbrake, amt Vechta, Oldenburg - Landed in New
Orleans on November 5, 1849 on the Rob Roy which sailed from Bremen. He
arrived with his wife Maria, 53; their son Johan Heinrick, 20; daughters: Maria
Gertrude, 26; and Margaretha, 24.

10. SCHLEPER, Franz Joseph - Lohne, amt Vechta, Oldenburg - December 1, 1840
or Summer of 1844, according to his citizenship application. I could not
find his record in the list of arrivals in New Orleans in December 1840.

20. SCHLEPER, Clemens August - the Father of Franz Joseph, arrived with his
Brother, Franz, on August 28, 1837. He was age 44. He sailed from Bremen on
the Brig Weser. His home was Lohne.
