Hi Stan, You will find a Dedesdorf on the East side of the Weser River. At one time it belonged to Oldenburg. See: http://dedesdorf.de.vu/ If you click on "Dedesdorf" a page will open. In the left hand column you will find "Geschichte" (history.) If you need help translating, open a 2nd window and open one of the online translation pages. In German d's & t's are interchangeable.
