Hi Pattie!You know the marriage date in Oldenburg of your couple. If you can find someone to look up this record in the church records of Oldenburg - normally the town of birth is remarked in it.

His wife Meta and their young son arrive in Philadelphia a short time later. Adolph died in May 1916. I obtained a copy of his death certificate and it states his father's name was Ludwig but his mother's maiden name is listed as unknown.> My Aunt mentioned that Adolph might have been in the Prussian Army.
