Hello: I am new to this list. I hope this is the correct way to seek information. We received the following information from a cousin who had been in contact with someone at the Langforden parish website. I am researching Heinrich Joseph Bruns born May 28 1814 in Deindrup to Johann Bernd Bruns and Anne Marie Bruns. The family lived at Wilmes estate. He was baptized in the Catholic church in Langforden. God parents are Heinrich Joseph Oldehus and Marie Elizabeth Mohlmann b Stegemann.. This is our 3rd great grandfather. He married Mary Elizabeth Grewe in Germany and they emigrated from Breman to Baltimore on October 1, 1844 on the ship "Elise". They settled in Cincinnati, Ohio USA. I would very much appreciate information on the names: Heinrich Joseph Bruns, Johan Bernd Bruns, Anne Marie Bruns, Heinrich Joseph Oldehus and Marie Elizabeth Mohlmann b. Stegemann. Mary Elizabeth Grewe Thank you for any help or suggestions anyone could give me. Cherlyn Bruns North Kansas City, Missouri USA
