Please, could I ask you some questions? 

I was wondering about the last names... why does the wife have a 
different last name than the husband?  Did they keep their own?  Who's 
name did the children get?

Also, I may travel to Germany this December, but I'll only have a day to 
spend in Oldenburg area... what places are the best to find information 
on these Suings?  The Staatsarchiv Oldenburg?  How about the archive of 
the Bischöflich Münstersches Offizialat in Vechta?
