Hello Reina!

aidaonline is the online findbook of the Staatsarchive in Niedersachen. If you find an entry, you can look up the details by clicking on an entry. There is the Staatsarchiv which ownes the documents (for instance Oldenburg, Aurich, Hannover and so on). You can look at the document in this Staatsarchiv. There are only headlines in the online findbook. But sometimes the informations helps nevertheless.

I have found my ancestors name in some online findbooks: civilregister,
outmigrants and churchbooks.

Does this mean that his name is in one of these civil
registration/outmigrants/churchbooks in the archives mentioned at that
site??
