Greetings Gert-Jan Speckmann I did a quick search of the 1930 US Census and found the following: Home in 1930 - Wahoo, Saunders, Nebraska Head of Household: John D SPECKMANN, Age 52, born abt 1878 in Germany Spouse's name: Emma Houshold Members: Bertha M SPECKMANN, 23 Elsie E A SPECKMANN, 21 Emil C SPECKMANN, 20 John H SPECKMANN, 16 Helen I SPECKMANN, 14 Anna H SPECKMANN, 13 Looks like a match. Information was obtained from http://www.ancestry.com/ Happy Easter to you - we recently had 10 inches of snow with temperature today of 20(F). This is not normal in Minnesota. Dirk married Maria Schmidt. Maria was born on 20-03-1850 in Wiesens (D). Maria died on 15-05-1899, at the age of 49 years.
