Hello,

there is an August Hinrich (Henry) Bliefernich emmigrated to St. Louis, MO before 6 NOV, 1900. He were born 21 DEC, 1872 in Abbehausergroden, parish Abbehausen. No parents in this record.

The passenger lists from Ellis Island have a Heinrich (Henry) Bliefernich from Jaderaussendeich, parish Jade, 21 Y, Single, Ship: Yorck, Arrival: 25 JAN, 1923

This may help to find your grandfather

My name is Fred Henry Bliefernich. My grandfather Henry came to the New York city, USA in early 1900's from Oldenburg - he had a brewers card (not sure what that means). My wife and I had dinner with a Bliefernich family in 2000 at a restaurant in Bremen near the Bremen singers statue - we have lost contact with them but my recollection is that they are from the area near Oldenburg. Can you help in finding information about my grandfathers family and if we have any relatives still in Germany?
Thank you for any help,
Fred H. Bliefernich
