Several John Koors's in Covington Kentucky-Cincinnati Ohio area:

John Diederick Koors born 06-21-1813- died 12-23-1859
Married on 11-12-1848 at Holy Trinity Church in Cincinnati, Ohio to Margaret Revermann born 12-02-1822 in Oldenberg on 11-12-1848 at Holy Trinity Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. 
Covington Kentucky City Directory from 1872 through 1895.
Margaret Koors is the widow of Diederick Koors.
Diederick Cors/Koors filed naturalization papers in Cincinnati on April 14th, 1841 Page 294 Rare Books, Carl Belgen Library Cincinnati, Ohio. 
John arrived on Ship "Edwina" in Baltimore June 21, 1841.  
Found to be born in Goldenstadt Germany in St. Gorgonius Catholic Church. 
LDS record 0920828=Church records Oldenburg, Goldenstedt, Germany.

John Herman Koors born abt. 1817-died 09-17-1866 in Covington Kentucky. 
Married 11-07-1847 St. Mary’s Church in Covington, Kentucky to Mary Anna G. Revermann birth 1824 came to the U.S about 1851.
John first shows up in the Covington City Directories in 1899-1867.

I believe the Koors brothers married Revermann sisters but more research is needed.

Also in Covington Kentucky, across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, Ohio.
In 1872 Covington City Directory a John Koors, had a lumber business on the corner of Russell and Craig St.

Hello Kim,
there was a cottage Kohrs in Damme(Oldenburg) part Rottinghausen, since 1874 Pellenwessel.
In Damme is only one address today:

  Wilhelm Koors
  Drosselpfad 5
  49401 Damme
