David, do you have access to Ancestry.com? I found oodles of Stiers there, though it's possible none of them is yours. Also, have you seen the Holthinrichs query to the Oldenburg list back in 2000/2001? I found that with a Google search for "Holthinrichs." And I found a few in Ohio and Kentucky on Ancestry.com. Let me now what you've already done and if I can look for anything here for you.
