Gabriele,

Thank you for the information on Catharina Elisabeth Sieve. Records at St. Gertrud's, Lohne, show that she bore two daughters to Johann Heinrich Lubbehusen, a daughter Ida in 1869 and a daughter Catharina Wilhemina in 1871. The records then show a son named Johann Heinrich Lubbehusen in 1873 by (Johann) Heinrich Lubbehusen, but the mother's name is shown as Maria Catharina Sieve.

Are Catharina Elisabeth and Maria Catharina the same person or are they sisters?
