There are only eight persons named Lubbehusen in the book "Kirchspiel Lohne 1683 - 1811"by Friedrich Steinkamp, 1995 Bonn. There are no persons names Grote. There is, however, nearly a page of Götke. There are seven persons named Sieve and three pages of Sieverding. I will send JPG copies of the pages to you by separate e-Mail. Ronald J Repking Repkingron(a)aol.com Flossmoor, Illinois In a message dated 1/13/07 3:37:10 P.M. Central Standard Time, michaellowe(a)cox.net writes: My great grandmother, Ida Lubbehusen, emigrated from Oldenburg in 1893. Her Father and mother were Johann Heinrich Lubbehusen and Catherina Elisabeth Sieve. They were members of the St. Gertrud Catholic Churck in Lohne. Prior to his marriage to Catharina Sieve we believe Johann Heinrich was married to Alexandrina Grote. Does anyone have any information on the Lubbehusen, Sieve, or Grote families?
