Johann Hinrich Schuette (schulhalter) m. anna Catharine geb. Oetken Heurel 1796. Does that mean that her entire surname is Oetken Heurel. Was that common for women to have two surnames?
Also, how would I find out who came before these two people from Burstel, OL?
