Hmmm, I have Röwe/Rüwe/Rufe in Osteressen, who were also known as Kruse at times, way back in the 17th century. I don't think they were very particular about which name they used at the moment. The Rüwe farm itself goes back to at least 1473. Do these Rouwe/Ruhe people come from there?

Could someone please check "Bauernh?fe im Amte Vechta" (or other records) for the name Anna Rouwe aka Anna Ruhe, b. 3.2.1710 L?sche, Ksp. Vestrup, + 2.9.1779? If found, could you please send me a copy of any pages that name her or her ancestors.
I have recently learned that she is my great (5) grandmother, from the information so kindly sent to me by Otto Osterkamp, from "Essener Bauernhoefe und ihre Familien".
