Ik ben op zoek naar Herman(us) Hatterman(n). Hij moet in 1760 geboren zijn, vermoedelijk in Oldenburg (Nijstad). Ik neem aan dat Nijstad onderdeel is van de gemeente Oldenburg. Maar misschien klopt dat niet? Hij trok naar Amsterdam waar hij op 19 oktober 1787 trouwde met Margaretha Gesina Scha(a)f (f)lutzel.
Zijn ouders zijn dan al dood. In het gemeente-archief van Amsterdam staat dat hij gereformeerd is. Welk archief in Duitsland zou mij informatie kunnen verschaffen?

I'm looking for Herman(us) Hatterman(n). He must be born around 1760 in Oldenburg (Nijstad). I suppose Nijstad is a part of the municipality Oldenburg. But perhaps I'm wrong? Herman(us) left Oldenburg and moved to Amsterdam. In the age of 27 he married Margaretha Gesina Scha(a)f (f)lutzel. His parents were already passed away then. His religion: 'dutch reformed' as the municipality files of Amsterdam stated.
Can any one tell me where in Germany I could find more information?
