Hello Henrietta,

my message to Nikolaus was an extract from the census of all inhabitants of the parish of Ganderkesee, ordered by the Earl (Graf) of Oldenburg in the years 1662 and 1678, for to calculate the taxes for people and animals, resp. to the name Ordemann .

I'll try to find your relatives in the states archive of Oldenburg in the church books of the parish Hatten, but it might be helpful to have some more facts, if you have some. It's really a lot of dates I have to investigate, special Meyer and von Seggern are frequently names in our area. It will need some times.

I only speak and understand English. I would appreciate any information you may have for Meyer or Albers or von Seegern from the Hatten, Oldenburg area in the 1800's. Sorry I do not recognize any names and donot understand your kind message.
