[OL] Von Handorf families

In 2002 I posted a query on this wonderful list asking about the Bergmann family in Damme and, as always, promptly received a reply from Werner about Johann Heinrich:
Johann Henrich Bergmann
oo 13.Jan.1859 in Damme
to Maria Agnes von Handorf born 19.Aug.1839 in Holdorf-Handorf parish Damme
Heuerleute by Meyer-Holzgrefe in Holdorf-Handorf
wittnesses: Bernd von Handorf, Christine Bernardine Bergmann

I'm now desperately trying to disentangle the von Handorf/Handrup/Arens web and must confess I'm totally confused. I have have now moved on to the Von Handorfs and wonder if my great-great grandmother MARIA AGNES VON HANDORF (1828-1906) might be part of the family which includes the Arens and Honkomp families. All I have is a copy of a muddled family tree and I would be immensely grateful if someone could help me out.

Another question I have revolves around the vexed problem of marriages among the Heuerleuten. If, as is clear, Johann Heinrich Bergmann was one, would Maria Agnes von Handorf have had to be from a similar background?

Thanks

Margot
