James Hemmen, Appleton, Wisconsin, USA -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jim, This may not be of help, but I have some Brundiers in my genealogy about the same year, a Maria Catherina BRUNDIERS born 21 Sep 1827, in Lodbergen, Oldenburg. I have no sibling records on her. You may find it helpful to know that as I traced that line back in time the surname was at times spelled BRUNDIRCKS or BRUNDIERCKS [last half of the 1700's] and much earlier simply BRUNE and BRUN [early 1700's]. All lived in the same area outside Löningen, Germany, including the village of Ehren. I can't explain the evolution of the name. If you find much info on this line that may connect to mine, I'd appreciate it if you would send it my way. By the way, years ago I spoke with a Patti Brundircks in Franklin, MI. You may want to see if you can find her. She had done much research on this family. Bob Fathman Dublin, Ohio, USA
