Hello Sandra,

I have found both, the birth record of Christian Hoepken, as well as the marriage record of his parents, in the church book of Strueckhausen. By the way, Christian had a twin-brother.

In order to avoid double-work, could you let me know, what information -with respect to potential Strueckhausen church records- you already have? Then I would concentrate on the missing information.

Please also let me know, whether you have a fast internet access. I would send pictures of the original church record pages to your address. Each page is about 400kB.

Kind Regards

Heinz Wiemann

Subject: [OL] HOPKEN

I am looking for the names of siblings of my great-grandfather, Christ (Chris) Hopken. Chris was born on May 26, 1864, in Struckhausen to John and Liza (Haverkamp) Hopken, and he came to the United States in 1889. I would appreciate any information.
