found another FISCHER, soldier of the German Legion,in the parish-book of the military community Hanover. Perhaps it is interesting for you:

Garnisonskirchenbuch Hannover: " ...02757 FISCHER, Christian Friedrich, Soldat, 8.Rgt., 1806 abw.. bei der Englischen legion, * Linden; oo ... Sophie Dorothee FRICKE, * Barenburg oder Söhlingen um 1778, + 3.8.1806 ..."

The short story of this entry is his wife died and the entry reports the husband is 1806 absent because iof serving for the English Legion, which should be from the English sight of things have been the German Legion.

So maybe a relative of your Arend Heinrich FISCHER
