BRose,

Hello,

I had taken the information from following the Meyer born 1817 at
Neetzendorf and for a time he lived at the Himbergen area Of Uelzen.
His wifes name was Ratzman. she married twice. Once to a Lietz. There
were many Names in association with Lietze as well. The Rose name
showed up in this area with the Ratzman link.

You may use my email If you wish more information and I will send you
the particular dates and residence of this family. The information is
there because they lived in this region for the whatever amount of
  time.

We had a Rose family that mixed with several of those of interest to
me of Farnhamville, Lohrville, Calhoun county and Churdan and Greene
county, Iowa. I belive his name was Charles. He was suppose to be from
  England.

I wonder about the name Rose. Is the name for Rose in German Rose or
something else. If that is the case does Rose mean something else. or
the name winter. They are obvious english seeming names....

  Jo Meyer
