I am trying to find where my grandfather's family was in Haapel. His name was Jakab Borchers, born in 1878 or so, and his mother was Anna Borchers. We have no record of the name of the father although grandfather referred to brothers that lived in a neighboring town. One brother had been a teacher in this unnamed town. Both Jakab and Anna were born in Haapel and Anna was buried there in the mid 1930s. Grandfather married Anna Martens and they lived on a farm in Selsingen and he died there in the 1960s. I would appreciate any information that could be shared with me regarding this aspect of my family ancestry. Charlene, tctwall(a)frontiernet.net
