Hello friends
 
I have written Bamberg about church records on Johann Lodes but they have  
not replied.
 
Johann was born 10-19-1847 in bavaria.  He left Bremen Germany in  1872 on 
the ship dutschland  His ship arrived in New York on  6-24-1872.  Margaretha 
Zeilmann was on the same ship.  Margaretha  was born in 1850. I think they were 
later married.  I believe Johann's  mother was named Anna and his father's name 
was Sebastion.
 
 I have contacted the Lodes family living in Ahorntal and they could  not 
help me except to say they know the family.
 
I would appreciate it if some one could me on this matter.
